• Representatives of a Consumer Congress working party drafting its Passengers' Charter met Bus and Coach Council director-general Veronica Palmer this week.
When completed, the charter will provide a code of practice on safety, access, information, service quality and complaints procedure for rail, buses and taxis. Operators and local authorities have been involved from the earliest stages.
