Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

IN Commercial Motor understands that Daf is currently working on an uprated version of its 8.25-litre-engined FT2500 DHS tractor, called the 2700, which could break cover before next summer.

Few details are known, but it is expected to have more power and torque than the 2500's 195kW (261hp)/932Nm (6871bft).

The 2500 is popular with distribution companies which are not looking for a full-blown 38tomer, and the arrival of a 2700 would further reinforce Leyland Dal's position in the 32-38-tonne tractor market.
