Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Abbey Hill has been sold to one of Europe's largest vehicle transport companies, CausseWalon.

Abbey Hill has a staff of 480, operates 150 vehicle transporters and has nine depots in England. The deal, which was clinched on 31 October, gives Causse-Walon a total workforce of 2,500, 1,750 vehicle transporters and more than 70 sites throughout Europe.

No jobs will be lost because g the deal, says Abbey Hill's managing director Wayne Denton. He predicts that with the co-operation of its new owner, Abbey Hill will expand operations on the Continent.

"The UK will play a very big part in European car transportation well before 1992 with its new Nissan, Toyota and Honda car plants," says Denton. "Causse-Walon and Abbey Hill will be the only company tc offer door-to-door vehicle deliveries. The acquisition will open avenues of new business and will take Abbey Hill from number four in the UK to being part of number one in Europe."
