AWD already has many Ivanced orders.
The TL 18-16, with a aimed trailer/payload capacity 14.5 tonnes, makes its deit at the Scottish show. The L 21-16 will be available in Le new year with a 17.5-tonne pacity. Both vehicles are poered by the Perkins Phaser x-cylinder 6.160T turboesel which delivers 119kW 60hp) and 516Nm (3811bft) of Tque. The shared gearbox is e six-speed Eaton 4106 overlye unit from the TL ith revised gear ratios.
Both models have Dunlop air tspension at the rear, with .fling-lobe air bags, and an air Imp to help with coupling up. nailer wheels and tyres, and the air suspension, help to keep the ground-to-frame top height down to 770mm — a major factor for breweries.
AWD says it has built its new urban artics with the help of a number of major breweries, and Bass Worthington has taken a keen interest in the new vehicles as potential replacements for its fleet of Volvo FL6 urban artics.
