AN ELECTRONIC device designed to help keep drivers awake on monotonous stretches of motorway has been introduced by a Danish Company, Transtiet Distributors Corporation.

The warning system, called Roaciguard, comes into operation automatically whenever the vehicle is in top gear. At random intervals of four to 14 seconds :1 red lamp lights up. The driver has three seconds to cancel the lamp. by operating a switch, either at the steering wheel or on the door. If he fails to do this an alarm sounds.
