A PROTOTYPE of the strikingly-styled Van Hool A280 city bus was a star exhibit of a Van Hool display at Carlyle.
The show, which signalled the official inauguration of the Belgian maker's new spares and service centre also included the AU138 naidibus and a Dennis Lancet-based midicoach for a Scottish dealer.
Carlyle Works used the op portunity to introduce its new Freight-Rover Sherpa 350based 20 scat minibus and to reveal that major overhauls arc currently being carried out on Leyland Nationals for London Buses.
