CAPT. F. S. BELL has taken up an executive position with Pollard Bearings. Ltd. He commanded H.M.S. " Exeter during the River Plate action.
Ma. F. F. Maastt, managing director of Rex Bodybuilders, Ltd., Manchester. from 1929-51, and joint managing director since then, has retired. The company have been put into voluntary liquidation.
MR. L. G. STOCKWELI has resigned froin his position as general manager of Stalybridge, Hyde, Mossley and Dukinfield Transport Department to become London regional service manager of Norris, Henty and Gardners. Ltd.
MR. E.A. CUNNINGHAM has become sales manager of the Sparto group of London Bankside Products. Ltd., makers of Judella accessories, replacing MR. G. H. BRENCHLEY, who has left the company. MR. WILL THORNE, formerly with Ftoataire. Ltd., has been appointed Midland area sales manager.
MR. R. B. LONG has been appointed export sales manager of the Chaseside Engineering Co.. Ltd. He was previously Venezuela district manager of Ford International, Detroit. overseas representative for Latin America of the Ford Motor Co.. Ltd., Dagenham, and served in an executive position with the Standard Motor Co.. Ltd.. in Europe.
MR, W. P. BRADBURY. who joined the headquarters executive of the British Electric Traction Co.. Ltd., in 1949, is to retire on December 31. and will be resigning from the boards of those B.E.T. associated companies on which he has served as a director. Before 1949 he was chief commercial manager of the London Midland Region of British Railways.

MR. NOEL TAYLOR has succeeded MR. ERNEST PARKER as manager of the transport department of Worksop Co-operative Society, Ltd. Mr. Parker held his position for 32 years.
MR. F. J. SLOAN. former Newcastle area manager of A.C.V. Sales, Ltd., who, as reported on October 26, has been transferred to the south-eastern region, replaced MR. BRIAN HOLGA'TE. who has gone to Canada. MR. BRIAN SHEPtintri (not Mr. Sloan) is regional manager in the south-east. MR. R. T. KNOWLES, who has taken over the area formerly covered by Mr. Sloan, retains the designation of sales representative.
