MD Lee Christopher has ordered 10 Mercedes-Benz trucks with dealer Mertrux on a threeyear hire purchase deal for delivery this September.
Christopher said he had stayed away from Euro-6 because it is untried as a technology. "Euro-6 is complicated from the vehicle maintenance angle and £8,000 to £10,000 more per unit than Euro-5," he said.
