it was revealed that new truck sales (6-tonne GVVV and upwards) in the year to the end of April were 14.6% down on the same period last year at 11,426 registrations, according to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.
Rigids over 16-tonne GVVV and three-axle tractors were down 18.9% and 10% respectively, according to the data.
