• Truck drivers will have to pay £11 more to renew their HGV licences from next February. The cost of a first provisional HGV or LGV licence is also going up by £11, to £21.
But first full HGV and bus licences are to be free, saving £10 for HGV drivers and £22.50 for PCV drivers.
The provisional PCV licence goes up by more than 400% from £5 to £21, however, while a renewal will come down from £22.50 to £21.
