• Minibus specialist the Carlyle Group plans to move to modern premises on the outskirts of Birmingham by the end of the year.
It is currently based at a 70year-old site at Edgbaston.
"When we relocate we expect to take all of our businesses and the people within them with us," says marketing director Chris Jones.
He expects the servicing and repair side of the operation to increase by up to 10% this year; it currently accounts for 15-20% of the group's activities.
