Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Leyland Daf is offering a civilian version of its 11.5-tonne 4x4 military-spec Roadrunner: it hopes to announce its first sale within two weeks.

This follows the launch by Tamworth-based engineering firm J Roberts of what was said to be the first 4x4 Roadrunner conversion, now to be known as the 45 Series. At the time, Leyland Daf said it was aware of the design but had not necessarily approved it (CM 18-24 April).

Leyland Daf stresses that it is not "launching" the civilian model, but "can supply a civilian version".
