• Security company Armaguard has placed an order for 21 Leyland Daf high-roof 400 Series vans. The vehicles will be converted by Bedwas for cashin-transit operations.
All 21 are to be fitted with a new special engineering pack age, which includes an uprated front axle plated at 1,500kg. Leyland Daf has introduced the package with the security industry in mind. Vehicle armour increases unladen weight, taking up vital axle tolerance, particularly at the front.
