Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• ICI Autocolour is replacing its market-leading Turbo brand twopack paint with Turbo Plus. The new paint is claimed to last up to five years on commercial vehicles because of its enhanced resistance to stone chipping, corrosion, chemical attack and ultraviolet.

Other advantages claimed for the paint include higher opacity, reducing the number of coats required, and a multistriping activator that allows air drying in 30 minutes.

Over 3,500 colours are available from 20 basic pigments: there are two hardners and thinners in the system with a traditional and a transparent undercoat, both with wet-on-wet spraying capability.

During 1991 ICI will set up a network of approved paintshops which will guarantee their application of Turbo Plus paint. This will be sup ported by the company's consultancy service which wilt offer support and training to pain tshops.

To back up the introduction of Turbo Plus, ICI 'Paintspec' consultants will visit fleets to analyse the work undertaken by the vehicles

and recommend a painting system. 1:1 ICIs Solvents is changing its name to Cleaning Technology Business, but brand names such as Genciean will be retained.
