Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A bigger Beaver minibus from Reeve Burgess coachbuilders, debuted at last weekend's Brighton Coach Rally.

Based on the standard Meroedes 609D chassis, rather than the Iveco Ford 49.10 chassis, the new Beaver has 25 seats.

Reeve Burgess sales director Harry Reeve, says: "The Beaver body has been well received by bus and coach operators and its fitment to the new Mercedes 609D is a logical extension to our range."

The first of the Mercedesbased Beavers has been sold to Chambers of Stevenage. It is 6.82m long and is fitted with an electrically-operated twopiece door opening onto a three-step entrance. All the 25 seats are high-backed with moquette trim.

Reeve Burgess has built the body frame from welded tubular steel treated with Mebon primer. The body panels are built of aluminium and bonded to the steel frame with Bostik 2639 adhesive to prevent electrolytic reaction. Front and rear ends and the Beaver's lower skirt are made of GRP panels.

The Mercedes-based Beaver costs £28,340 in its coach form, compared with 227,814 for the Iveco Ford-based vehicle. Reeve Burgess says a bus version of the vehicle, priced at £29,395, will be offered based upon the Mercedes 709D van.
