The company, which hold licence for 15 vehicles in dm western area, was called before the DLA following convictions last July at Bournemouth Crown Court 12 charges under the Heald and Safety at Work Act for making false statements relating to the nature of explosives being carried, an exposing the public to unnecessary risk. The company argued that the 21,600 in fines indicated tha the offences were not as serious as they appeared.
