WINNER of the CM Challenge Trophy at last weekend's Leyland Vehicles Historic Commercial Vehicle Club London to Brighton run was P. Peskett in a Fiat. The following were winners in their respective classes:
Class A (Vans and lorries up to one ton) P. Easton in a Morris commercial pick-up; Class B{vans and lorries one-two tons) P. Peskett in a Fiat; Class C (lorries 2-3 tons) C. Marshall in an Albion HL126; Class 0 (lorries over 3 tons) C. Garton in an AEC Monarch MkII.
Class E (fire engines, open and turn table ladder types) K. Senior in an American White; Class F (fire engines, enclosed type) D. Plank in a Dennis Ace; Class G (passenger vehicles under 20 seats) A. Freakes in a PanhardLevassor; Class H (single decker passenger vehicles, 20 seats or over) N. Anscombe in a Bedford WLB.
