Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

;REV-GREEN'S parent cornany, the Cowie Group, has ecorded a pre-tax loss of 195,000, compared with a irevious half year profit of :625,000.

Chairman Tom Cowie blamed le loss on the acquisition of he George Ewer Group (Grey3reen's immediate parent) and :s subsidiary Eastern Tractors ast June. Both these busiiesses, said Mr Cowie, are easonal and so it is undertandable the interim figures are poor. He is encouraged by reent results, however, saying hat the group is now entering he best half of the year.

The coach operations lost :350,000 while George Ewer's 3edford/Vauxhall dealer in Ipsvich, Burrells, lost a further :250,000.

Burrells is up for sale and Covie expects it to be disposed of vithin a few weeks.
