I WAS concerned to read that some transport consultants are worrying the Road Haulage . Association's Express Carriers functional group (CU. April 11, p16).
We obtain tenders on behalf of our clients and the carrier is well aware of the client's name and location.
I am concerned that disreputable transport consultants could tarnish reputable consultancies who provide a very useful service to both clients and carriers.
As a matter of interest I would like to hear from the RHA group if only to be made aware of the transport consultant involved in its present deliberations.
