A NEW high-performance pallet racking system with metal upright profiles, each having eight bends, and joined with compatible cross brace components into a framework which is full jig-welded has been introduced by Bruynzell Storage Systems Ltd, reports BRAIN CHALMERS-HUNT.

Known as Monte-Pal the eightband configurations gives high strength and resistance to buckling while providing a central front rib effectively meeting the pallet beam connectors.

Co-ordinated pallet beams comprise two interlocking cold rolled steel sections. The connectors are attached with an all-round weld, and each is fitted with two malleable cast steel studs that have tapered flanks to correspond with the slots in the upright frames for positive location.

Four standard depths of pallet beam (80, 90, 100 and 120mm (3.2, 3.5, 3.9 and 4.7in) are available. Other depths are available in 10mm (0.4in) stages.
