evidence Mr Mclninernay I he was applying for a end vehicle at the present e, as he did not want to go )ugh the "rigmarole" when ,mess picked up. Michael Halgood, the county council's principal engineer said the operating centre was at the rear of residential property. There was no planning permission for its use, and enforcement action was likely to be taken by Birmingham City Council.
Mr Mclninernay said the premises were secured behind double gates. He had been to see local residents and no one had any objections.
Granting a licence for two years Mr Crabtree said he could understand the local authority's point of view. However Mr Mclninernay has been there some time and it was an enclosed site of considerable size. If the local authority was upset, it was up to them to take appropriate action.
