EIGHT POTENTIAL exhibitors of commercial vehicles at the Scottish Motor Show, due to be held at the Kelvin Hall from November 7 to 15 this year, were unsuccessful in the ballot for stand space held last week.
Makes affected were Bedford, Saviem, MAN, Chrysler, Ford, and Mercedes. Because the exhibitors at the Scottish Show are dealers, not manufacturers, most of the makes will be represented on other stands in the exhibition. However, it is understood that both MAN and Saviem are unlikely to have vehicles in the exhibition hall. The organisers of the show are trying to arrange additional space near the hall for use by the unsuccessful exhibitors.
