The motor vehicle is the means by which a free library movement, can be ietroduced to villages far removed from the towns, and the possibilities in this respect are fully realized by the Carnegie United Kingdom Trustees. Al] library authorities will be interested in the experiment, which has been conducted by the authorities in Perthshire, who have fitted up a light Ford van, with shelves protected by sliding doors, to carry books to the number of 800-900.
