The Merth,yr Corporation has discussed the question of running a municipal omnibus service, and has postponed decision on the matter until a later date. The feeling at the meeting was however, that, owing to the excellence of the services to all pasts from Merthyr provided by local private proprietors, there was no scope for the operation of a municipal service. An offer was received from a losal proprietor to provide three single-deck Tilling-Stevens petrol buses, but it was declined.
