fined 240 with £20 costs at Wetherby magistrates last week for overloading a second axle.
Company owner Paul Boitoult told the court the vehicle was well within the gross weight limit until he made a delivery at Leeds. There were no chilled facilities to redistribute the load.
The court heard that while the second axle was 1,420kg overweight, the other axles were one third below the weight limit.
