ESOP EXPLAINED • • Busways Travel Services has produced a video explaining ESOPs. Entitled Minding Your Own Business — the ESOP Concept, the video explains its history, how it works and its impact on UK companies.

MANAGING URBAN TRANSPORTATION • The National Technical Information Service in America has published Mass Transit Management: A Handbook for Small Cities, giving information for the management of smallscale transit operations in cities operating 101 buses or less.
The handbook is in four volumes covering goals, support and finance in part one; management and control in part two; operations in part three, and marketing in part four. Although aimed at US cities, it gives advice on similar enterprises in Europe.
