• A new Luton body kit suitable for the Ford Transit is being launched by Rochdale-based CVR. The new Rapid-Fit body is designed to he assembled on the vehicle by two people within seven hours. The kit incorporates a moulded GRP air deflector with GRP roof and walls fitted to an aluminium alloy framework. Hilux update

• Toyota is Launching updated versions of its Hilux pick-up, including a revised 2.4-titre diesel engine for the 4WD version. Toyota claims the revised engine produces more power, less vibration and noise, and improved economy. Minor changes to the design give the vehicle a more rounded look, and Toyota has increased the use of corrosion-resistant steel in the body. Hilux prices range from 26,390 (ex-VAT) for the base 2WD model, up to £9,580 (ex-VAT) for the 4WD diesel.
