n, Ian Ian McEwan, has been ap)inted director, operations ld planning, at General otors Worldwide Truck and is Group engineering.
The appointment is part of a structuring which completes re world's largest vehicle anufacturer's moves to intoate Bedford with GM's Truck id Bus Group.
Working at the group's headJarters in Pontiac, Michigan, Ir McEwan will continue to ad the Bedford engineering am, but in addition assumes, cm March 1, responsibility for le group's worldwide design ?sources, planning, experilental manufacturing, techni31 support and administration. He reports to William Larson, roup director of the truck and us engineering operation.
Reporting to Mr McEwan are iavid Rees, previously chief enineer, components, who is ow director of engineering for ;edford Vehicles, and Leslie imith. Mr Smith's title changes rom chief engineer, vehicles, executive engineer, Bedford perations.
