Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Telecoms contract

THE POST Office has placed an order with Dormobile for 97 general-purpose telecommunications vans.

The vehicles will have custom-built bodies incorporating crew cabs built on Leyland Boxer chassis. Dormobile will start production at its Folkestone factory in May or June and the order should be completed by September.

Value of the contract is £553,000.

Belfast invests

THE PORT of Belfast is to undertake a £20m investment programme over the next five years.

The first £13m phase comprises a roll-on, roll-off berth, a lift-on, lift-off berth and a deep-water multi-purpose berth.

Forth Bridge traffic

THE LORRY drivers' strike partially accounts for the 10 per cent drop in the number of vehicles using the Forth road bridge in January.

Total number of vehicles of all kinds crossing the bridge was 543,409 and receipts fell by 11 per cent to £96,152. Bad weather and road conditions also contributed to the fall in traffic.

Beans means thieves

A TRAILER loaded with £6,000 worth of baked beans has been stolen from an H. J. Heinz depot.

The 30ft trailer was taken from the depot at Kitt Green, Wigan during the night. Earlier in the week, a similar trailer with £5,000 worth of tinned goods, including spaghetti, baby foods, beans and sausages was stolen from the depot, also during the hours of darkness.

The police are continuing with their investigations.
