Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Revenue of £1450 has been earned since April of last year by the post buses operating in the Scottish Postal Region. This was revealed by statistics issued by the Region last week. Well over 7000 passengers were carried by the buses in the same period.

There are plans to increase the number of services from the present 11 to 35 in the next few months. One of the first services, between Dunbar and Innerwick, has been operating for five years and now regularly carries about 1500 passengers a year and provides the Post Office with extra revenue of about £200.

National development of post buses is analysed in a feature on page 62.
