Transport manager
• The winner of the 1994 Transport & Distribution Manager of the Year award will receive £5,000 in cash and a handsome trophy. To qualify entrants must first complete an entry form with 10 questions to test their legal and technical knowledge. The award is sponsored by Manpower and Iveco Ford.

• The search is on for the 1994 Truck Driver of the Year with 19 regional heats underway throughout the UK. Three drivers will qualify in each of six vehicle classes for the finals at the MIRA testing ground near Nuneaton on 11 September. A 0,000 cheque for the winner is among the prizes on offer.
