Even assuming that bus companies had no need to employ women in days gone by, which seems unlikely, isn't it about time the notice was upgraded to meet the politically correct 1990s? The Hawk suggests a rewording to bring in an added, spiritual dimension: "All creatures great and small assemble at this point".
That should cover all the bases.
