Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Big increases in Humber bridge tolls planned for January will cost local hauliers up to 220,000 a year extra and could even force some firms out of business, warns the Road Haulage Association.

Hull agricultural products haulier Colin Booth says his annual 265,000 bill for crossing the bridge will rise by 219,000. If it goes up any more he may have to sack drivers.

The RHA says the rise in HGV tolls from 216 to 223.20 for a return trip will have a detrimental effect on the whole business community in the region. The bridge currently faces a debt of 2330 million.
