Business Systems has launched a new shock-resistant computer which, the manufacturer claims, can survive a fall from the back of a lorry.
The Fieldworker FW60 hand-held computer can be used to monitor lorry fleets, recording distance travelled, tyre conditions and destination scheduling.
It has been sealed against water, oil and dust and can withstand temperatures from —30°C to 70°C.
The Fieldworker can be supplied with a portable print unit and data within the FW60 can be downloaded to a central computer.
