J P Callanan and Sons of Tudor Road, Bedford pleaded guilty on three counts of dumping rubble and subsoil on unlicensed sites around Hemel Hempstead. On one occasion environmental officers called at a farm where tipping was taking place and were threatened with assault and verbally abused, magistrates heard.
