VAG EXPECTS to increase sales of its MANVW 6.5 tonne and 7.5 tonne MT models over 1983 levels, follewing the strengthening of its UK light vehicle dealer network.
Last year VAG sold 382 units, operating with a small sales team, and according to the company. MT models have earned a, -reliability tag", with second hand models attaining high re-sale values.
MT models have also benefited from a recent parts repricing, and VAG predict its MT market share in the 6.5,7.5 tonne sector will be in line with its overall UK commercial vehicle market share target of over five per cent by 1986.
