NATIONAL BUS COMPANY subsidiary Ribble has introduced dual-purpose Leyland Olympian double-deckers on its Timesaver services between Burnley and Manchester.
The Olympians have basically standard NBC specification bus bodies fitted with ,72 coach seats.
The Gardner 6LXB engines fitted have been uprated to develop 188bhp at 1,850 rpm and a rear axle ratio of 3.474:1 to give a top speed of 63mph.
