A low-cost method for moving ISO containers up to 40ft long with up to 10 tons gross weight, has been developed by Flexello Castors and Wheels. It is the Towcastor system and has castors incorporating a patented adaptor and uses a towbar.

Suitable for both power towing and manual movement, the castors are fitted directly into the corner bracket casting incorporated in ISO containers. A towing attachment is available comprising towbars which lock positively into the corner bracket.

Three castor sets, based on the company's EH series, are available fitted with 10in. and 12in. diameter Flexello Superthane tyred cast-iron wheels, or 10in.-diameter extra duty castiron wheels.
