Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A portable charging set which can start a large engine with a -flatbattery within minutes, boost the battery while starting a difficult engine, and is suitable for refresher charging, has been produced by Lexor Electronics.

It's called the Charge-O-Matic and is powered by a Villiers F.15 engine, complete with recoil start, direct-coupled to a CAV three-phase alternator.

While full normal manual charge-rate control is available, automatic control can be selected at the throw of a switch.

Two models are available: the 12V version with an output of up to 60amp, and a matching 24V model providing up to 35amp.

The set is mounted on a sheet-metal chassis enclosed in a tubular cradle-frame protecting it from normal damage. Antivibration feet are standard, together with an ammeter and all control-gear, switchgear and overload protectors. The output is derived via large colour-coded terminals and a pair of high-current flexible cables with heavy-duty connecting clips is provided with each set.

The basic set weighs 93Ib (43kgm) and its overall size — 25in. x 17in, high (635mm x 432mm) — eases stowing problems.
