E1GHT applications have been made .1-4 to the Northern Licensing Authority for sanction to increase fares. Mr. James. Dickinson, of Hexham, is seeking to raise the return fare between Ilexham and Birtley, which now stands at 2s. 3d.. by 25 per cent.
