June which states that there will be no improvement in the coldflow performance of diesel fuel for the coming winter may prompt operators to look again at the alternative ways of avoiding waxing and consequent breakdown.
It is now widely agreed that the installation of a fuel line heater is the most reliable method of eliminating waxing, and at a cost that is modest compared with the losses that can result from a breakdown.
