Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE ELIMINATION of towel waste and improved hygiene are two of the features of the Towelaire Mercury from Towelaire International. An automatic warm-air hand and face dryer, it is operated by putting the hands below the air outlet. An intra-red sensor automatically activates both the motor and element, and the machine then continues to operate until three seconds after the hands have been withdrawn.

To dry the face, a flap at the air outlet is pressed and held down. This activates the intra-red sensor and starts the machine. The air is directed towards the face until the flap is released.

The machine consists of a 2.4kW element giving an air output of 120 cfm and an air temperature of 65°C (at 20°C ambient).

Safety features are incorporated, including a grille to prevent finger access to the element and both motor and element are protected by thermal overload cut-out. It is said to be impossible to jam or otherwise abuse the infra-red sensor so that it operates for more than two minutes. The control will automatically reset itself three seconds after the cause of the abuse is cleared.

The Towelaire Mercury has a three-year warranty and can be purchased outright for E165 plus vat, leased or rented.
