Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Supplementary to the 15ACR, 16ACR, 17ACR and 18ACR range, the Lucas 20ACR alternator weighs 11 .41b and produces a 66amp current. It is claimed that this represents an increase in output of over 200 per cent and a weight reduction of 16 per _ cent when compared with a standard dynamo and regulator.

In common with other alternators in the range its features include compact rectification and field-excitation units consisting of nine diodes and a built-in electronic regulator.

Maximum permitted speed is 15,000 rpm and rotation can be either clockwise or anticlockwise depending on the type of ventilating fan, which is of 6in. diameter.

This unit is capable of a hot mean current output of 66amp at 6000 rpm and 13.5V and has an all-in weight of 11 .41b with fan but without the pulley.
