The World Wondersweep from Walker's Mechanical Cleansing Ltd will, it is claimed, sweep, scrub and vacuum-dry a 341n. wide path along a floor at up to 2.50 mph.
All litter is thrown into a 2 cu.ft capacity front hopper and the detergent solution or plain water when used for dust-free sweeping) is recovered into a pick-up tank. The unit is battery powered.
The solution flow is variable, but under normal operating conditions is is said that 15gal will provide 30min of operation.
Four 6V 217 amp per hour batteries with 20-hour rating furnish the power to a full 1 hp 24V drive motor. Under normal operating conditions the machine will run for three continuous hours per battery charge.
