Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Britemor 100 is the name of a self-emulsifying fluorescent penetrant introduced by the Special Products Division of BurmahCastrol Industrial Ltd. When used in conjunction with Britemor dry powder developer BPD 2 or Britemor spray developer it provides a flaw detection process intermediate in sensitivity between that of Britemor S. the standard water-washable fluorescent penetrant, and the highly sensitive Britemor 500.

The penetrant is a solution of dyes in a liquid medium formulated to give deep penetration into surface defects and very intense stable fluorescence when irradiated with black light (near ultra-violet radiation). It can be used for detecting cracks and other surface flaws in ferrous and non-ferrous metals and in a wide range of non-metallic materials. Made by Burmah-Castrol Industrial Ltd, Burmah-Castrol House, Marylebone Road, London NW1.
