Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THIS month Albion Motors Ltd. is introducing a new series I of Clydesdale haulage and tipper chassis plated for operation at 15 tons g.v.w.—a ton more than present Clydesdales. The tractive unit version will continue at a maximum g.t.w. of 20 tons.

These new CD2I B Clydesdales will be marketed at home and overseas and join the recently announced Super Clydesdale I6-ton-gross types, Solo vehicles from the new range will be available only in 8 ft. overall width for UK operation, but the 7 ft. 6 in. CD21A models rated at 14 tons gross will remain available for territories where wider vehicles are not permitted.

The only dimensional change in the Clydesdale for 15 tons gross is in the wheelbase of the tipper model, which has gone up from 10 ft. to 10 ft. 9 in. Heavier road springs have been fitted to match the new loadings and 10.00-20 16-ply tyres, or their equivalent, are specified.

The air-pressure braking system has been modified and Clayton triple-diaphragm chambers are fitted at the rear axle, with a small hand valve on the steering column to actuate the auxiliary system; an additional air reservoir is carried on the chassis frame to ensure the independence of this circuit.

The Leyland 0.400 engine remains unchanged, but improved access (soon to be made standard on all models with same type of cab) is provided by a modified engine cowl with a large detachable side panel, held in place by quick-release screws.
