BECAUSE the population of Worksop was increasing and people had more money to spend on recreation, Sherwood Coaches, Eastgate, Worksop, applied to the East Midland Licensing Authority last week to run excursions to Nottingham, Cadwell Park, Sandringham and Hunstanton from Easter to the end of September.
Objections were made by East Midland Motor Services, Ltd., and the Trent Motor Traction Co., Ltd. The application was refused because there was insufficient evidence of public need.
