Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Huddersfield-based foyer UK has invested in 15 new Dennison lightweight triaxle tank trailers for its Red (beer and chemicals) fleet.

The tanks tare out at 3,600kg, beating Hoyer's weight target by 200kg to help it attain optimum efficiency on a 2+3 hulk beer transport contract with Scottish Courage.

As well as a number of struc

tural modifications Dennison has used aluminium wheels, air tanks, side guards and underrun bars to keep the weight down.

Hoyer also chose SAF's EM411 air suspension with its shorter, lighter anchor brackets and composite fittings, and lowmaintenance Euro-axles incorporating hub/bearing assemblies that can run for 50 months or 500,000km before needing attention.

For its beer distribution contract the tank trailers run with Volvo FL10 4x2s but Hoyer also has a trio of Leyland Daf 6x2s for 3+3 44-tonne work via the Trafford Park railhead.
