• Group 4 Nightspeed is to replace its trunking fleet this spring, beginning with an order for 26 32-tonne artics and 13 double-deck trailers. The 340hp sleepercabbed tractors comprise 14 Scania PllitLs and 12 ERF EC11s; the trailers will be built by Cartwright & Sons of Altrincham. The new 4.69m-high trailers will have fixed decks with Ross & Bonnyman tail-lifts. They can take 87 Nightspeed security cages.
