• Seven 41.6m3 tipping powder tankers in the S Longson fleet have been retrofitted by Adams Ricardo with CycloBlower helical screw compressors. The trailers are hauled by new ERF EC I 0-35STs.
• Volvo has supplied eastUkraine operator Sovtransavto Lugansk with 100 FH12s, bringing its fleet of Volvos to 275. They are used for long-haul work between OSS countries and western Europe.
• United Transport has replaced its ageing fleet of 10 forklifts with six of the latest LPG-powered GLP 20 models from Yale.
• Nissan is increasing its CV prices by 1%. The Vanette Cargo now starts at £10,500; the Cabstar at £1 1,985; and the Pickup at £10,470 (ex-VAT).
